As one of the main economic centres for Northeastern New Brunswick, Miramichi requires a robust and sustainable economy in order to form an anchor for this region.  With an area economy primarily focused on mining, fishing and forestry, as well as tourism and manufacturing, the City provides a solid context to explore issues related to diversification of economies and value-added local production.

The Miramichi Agricultural Exhibition Association complex at 24 Church Street will be the main conference site, where the Friday to Sunday sessions and luncheons will be held.
